Guide :Dehumidifiers : M7DH45B2A Dehumidifier

Maytag M7DH45B2A I have a maytag dehumidifer in my basement, hooked up to a hose leading to a drain. The problem is, the dehumid. doesn't recognize the hose connection. It continues to dump water into the reservoir, and I have to empty it constantly. I cannot find the manual and found this site online. Hope you guys can help!
