Guide :Humidifiers : HE360A1027 Whole House Humidifier Humidifier

Installation problem After installation, I couldn't get the humidifier to work. I connect the yellow wire to the humidistat and furnace's electronic board HUM connection. I can get a 24V signal (verified by multimeter) every time the furnace blower starts up. I hooked up the terminal connection, and plugged in the power supply. But both the fan and solenoid valve don't kick in, when the blower starts. Please help!! The connection I made is: HUM to humidistat, humidistat to humidifier, and humidifier to COM (as instructed by Carrier 58STA manual). Water is connected and verified, but since solenoid valve never kicked in, the panel is still bone dry. Something strange too. If I leave the humidifier plugged in , the furnace sometimes won't start. So I have to unplug it last night to keep the house warm. Any help is appreciated
